I was looking over http://www.energyproviderstexas.com/reliant-energy-texas/ very carefully last night and came away fully impressed. I grew up in Austin and lived here for 30 years. Everyone there gets their utility services from the city. That is the only choice. But I moved to Houston and learned they have many choices as to who they use for their residential or business service. This was the first surprising thing about Houston that made me realize that I would really like what the city had to offer.
Work was the motivating factor for my move. I had lived in the same place for decades, but had not really ventured out past the city where I was born and lived for so long. I had not even taken any other trips anywhere else in the state. I went to college there, and just stayed after graduation. I had always been curious about other areas of the state, but just had not traveled around. I really do not know why that is other than the fact that I kept pretty busy where I was already living. I lived a full life and just did not have a lot of time for other things outside of that.
One of the things I like about my new city is that there are a lot of things to do. The cultural world here is great. I am a writer by trade and I am also really into art and reading. I’ve joined a book club and really like that. I have already toured several of the museums here. I have met a lot of peole who are into the art world here. I have also joined a writer’s group and enjoying it in a big way. I think that I will stay here for as long as my heart tells me to do so.
